Remote Village would like to help celebrate Youth Week!
Youth Week is an annual event (April 14th – 21st 2023) that celebrates and recognises the contributions and achievements of young people around the world.
During Youth Week, there are usually a wide range of events and activities that take place, including youth-led forums, community service projects, cultural events, sports competitions, and arts and music festivals. These events are designed to provide young people with a platform to express themselves, connect with others, and make a positive impact on their communities.
Here at Remote Village we recognise that sometimes remote communities are lacking important resources & opportunities for young people, which can leave their youth feeling isolated and marginalised. In response to this, Remote Village has made it our mission to support and empower young people living in remote villages around Australia.
Through our work, we hope to demonstrate the potential that young people have to drive positive change in their communities and beyond. By empowering and supporting these young people, we believe that we can help to create a society that fosters equal opportunities and fairness for all, where everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
